Cabinet Cards: Couture Series

This collection contains 8 note cards and envelopes for your high fashion artistic life.

The front of each card is cultural remix of historical clothing and objects which fuses the pattern and design of each element to create a fantastic reinterpretation of the cabinet card. The cabinet card was a style of photograph which was widely used for photographic portraiture after 1870.

Image elements include: A 16th century French embroidered woolen cape, a 19th century French comb, a pair of 17th century British gloves, a 20th century Japanese Kimono, and a late 19th century Javanese Sesando (a tubular bamboo musical instrument).
